Amate Bark Paper has been used through the ages in religious and legal texts and as a canvas for painting.  Made from Amate, Nettle, and Mulberry trees, the unique and earthy tones of the trees perfectly blend together for an incredible crafting paper! Through careful and ancient practices, each sheet of this exotic Mexican paper is handmade and will be a great addition to any project! The Mexican Amate Bark Paper is acid-free and comes in a variety of natural colors. The solid, non-woven papers are even laser and ink-jet printer compatible!  Due to the use of natural bark and the handmade process, each sheet is unique and will vary in shade, color, weight and pattern. The sheet size is approximate, due to the deckle edges and drying process.
