SEAHORSE BATIK WATERCOLOR PAINTING

Batik Watercolor on Thai Unryu Paper by Jennifer

After taking a class from one of our valued customers (Carol Naylor), Jennifer started experimenting in Batik Watercolor Painting. This seahorse painting was Jennifer's second attempt at this style of painting. The seahorse is hand-drawn on a 25" x 37" sheet of White Thai Unryu Paper. Then layer after layer of paint and was was applied to get the fascinating colors and textures.

Why a seahorse? Because they are Jennifer's passion. She breeds and raises seahorses in her spare time and has amassed quite the herd of ponies.
