Paul Moberg is fascinated with the concept of portals, the focusing on one element of a larger scene. He uses a large format ink jet printer to print scenes of branches, leaves and trees. Those scenes are then layered on top of an acrylic painted wood sheet. The color from the acrylic paint shows through the translucence of the Thai Unryu Paper giving the feel of a twilight sky.
