Miniature Furniture with Thai Unryu Paper by Deborah Randolph
Deborah Randolph creates miniature Craftsman/Mission furniture. She has found that using Thai Unryu Paper in colors like Chocolate Brown or Black gives the look of aged leather. Using paper is much easier than using vinyl or actual leather at this tiny scale. In this piece, she wraps the miniature cushions in the Unryu paper. It's extremely hard to see anything but rich, dark leather, but, in fact, it is lightweight Mulberry Paper from Thailand.
