Handmade Paper Flower Instructions with Crepe Paper

Paper flowers are super easy to make and anyone can do them- even kids! We have a variety of Italian Crepe Paper available in two weights (thickness) and two sizes (rolls or sheets).
Supplies needed: Crepe paper, floral wire, floral tape, scissors, wire cutter and hot glue.

• Step 1: Find a paper flower pattern and cut all of the pieces needed for the flower.
• Step 2: Make the center of the flower by "fringing" the black crepe paper and use hot glue to roll the fringed piece around the floral wire. Slide the yellow accent onto the wire and secure with hot glue.
• Step 3: Gather the base of the flower petal and secure with hot glue. Using thumbs, stretch and shape the petals into a cupped shape.
• Step 4: Attach the petals to the base of the yellow accent piece. Add 3 petals first and then use the 3 remaining petals to fill in the gaps.
• Step 5: Wrap the floral tape around the wire and add the leaves as you wrap.
