FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
Tangled Up in Beauty by Erika Masterson
These stunning pictures are done by Erika Masterson, using Pigment Transfer onto Mulberry Paper. Her unique technique consists of coating each sheet of paper with Oyster Shell Pigment, an ancient Japanese Technique called Nihonga. Then the paper is coated with a golden bronze under-layer. The cracks and wrinkles in the artwork are possible because of the texture and thickness of the paper. These images are truly gorgeous and original.
